“AMAZING” was the word most used by both vendors and guests to describe their experience at the Ubiquitous Hair & Health Trade Show. On August 23 and 24, over 4,800 people attended The Ubiquitous Hair and Health Trade Show, “Where Relaxed Meets Natural Hair”. The show had a huge east coast reach from Boston to Florida. This event is the brainchild of Germaine Bolds-Leftridge, the CEO of GBL Sales, Inc. This one of a kind event staged its inaugural launch at the elegant Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC.

Over 65 national and local health, hair care and beauty brands gathered to cater to the guests and offer premium shopping. Celebrity designer, Hiram Smith, of HiramStyle, assisted in creating the “Ubiquitous Ambiance”. Guests and vendors alike experienced live performances by Celebrity Ambassador, Chante Moore, Chrisette Michele, and Maurette Brown Clark. Ubiquitous is blessed to have strong sponsors such as ORS, Hype Hair and Juicy Magazine, DC Metro, WHUR 96.3, Wells Fargo, Ambi and 4Naturals.

Other highlights of the show included Celebrity stylist, Kim Kimble, who educated a room full of professionals during her Style Session. Ubiquitous Blogger Ambassador, Afrobella, could be seen conducting interviews with the manufacturers and guests. The crowd really enjoyed the engaging panel discussions and the “spiritual beauty” message by co-pastor Mia Wright.
The Ubiquitous “Woman of the Year” Award was presented to Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings- Blake. Vendors and guests alike stated that this was the best show that they “ever” attended. Plans for 2015, will take the show to the Washington Convention Center, on August 22 and 23.
